WHAT IS THIS EVENT ABOUT?
If you want to combine holidays at the beach with enjoying a Psychobilly Festival, Pineda de Mar is the place to be! Here you will find TOP psychobilly bands, nices beaches, good hotels, fun parties on the beach, great DJ's and crazy people from around the world!!!
During the day you can meet your friends and make new ones at the infamous Tropical Beach Bar, which is a bar on the beach where you can drink and eat while you listen to the music you like. Or you can lay on the beach, relax under the sun, and swim in the Mediterranean Sea. And if you don't feel like socializing, you can also stay at your hotel having a rest at the swimming pool. You can enjoy everything a touristic resort as Pineda de Mar offers to its visitors and at night you can hang out with your friends at different parties we're organizing for you (see the program for more information)!
That's why we call it Psychobilly Meeting because is not just a festival, is much more than that! The meeting lasts seven days in which you will have the best holidays of your life! We offer you four festival days with 23 bands, parties at the beach bar or at the hotels where you can see more live bands for free, and crazy nights with great record hops! At the festival we'll also have a big market place where you can find clothes, records stalls and bands merchandise!
If you are coming with your family you won't have any problems, because most hotels will help you to arrange a baby sitter.
HOT NEWS:
This year we start on Tuesday, June 22nd with a band on the Beach Bar. On Wednesday, June 23rd we will continue at Hotel Paradis with two bands playing for free and record hop. Bring your swimming clothes, it will be a hot night!!!
The night of the 23rd is a big fest in Spain as we celebrate the summer solstice so don't be surprised when you hear and see fireworks all over! It's a tradition for years and this day people stay awake till dawn.
In 2010 we won't have a concert at Magma Disco. Instead we are back to celebrate the festival four days at the venue at the beach: Thursday, June 24th till Sunday, June 27th. The festival venue is located near the train station of Pineda, same as last year, in a big hall - have a look at the program where you will find the timetables, bands and more information.
This year we have live bands playing all the days except for the last one: That day we will end the Psychobilly Meeting at the Beach Bar with some of the DJ's from the festival (the ones that survived...).
